The GSA Image Analyser is a program to analyse 2D Images of any kind. It can recognize and count objects in an image or also calculate the distance areas in it. The images can be imported from many sources (file, scanner, microscope, cam).
It's hard and time-consuming to count objects manually as the cells in the screenshot aside. This monotone task is how history whith our program as it can all be done automatically within seconds.
Visualization of Objects
You can evaluate the results of the automatic cell counting in the image. As you can see, even overlapping cells get counted accurately.
You can even let the program measure the length of objects directly. Comparing this against the Tennant-method showed more exact results (depending on image quality though).
Image Stack
Put many of the same images to a stack and go through them to find out what has changed. This is extremely helpful when having images from the same location over time.
